K-FTP is a File Transfer Protocol Application. This application will allow you to connect to a web server, or any other online storage space, and transfer files to and from that space on the Internet. This is different from K-Drive as the role of this system is to manage the contents of a web site. A web hosting company isn’t designed to function as an internet drive. For example, this site is using WordPress as its platform. I had to upload the WordPress platform to my folder that is respective of this website for everything to work together. If this was an internet hard drive, I would need a blank page as index.html or a redirect in the .htaccess file. Neither of these options are ideal.
