K-Office is an Open Document Format office suite supporting word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and MySQL databases. While LibreOffice will be an additional alternative, K-Office will have the advantage of supporting the OS? dictionary where you would add words to the OS dictionary whereas LibreOffice may not support that feature. Since Adobe does not produce Linux versions of their software, KCI will try to work with Adobe to create, and edit .pdf files. If so, it will be done within K-Office > Writer.
