K: NAS

K: NAS is much like K-Drive on Steroids. This application is best to run on 5U servers with a lot of high capacity drives. This will allow the operator to combine the storage together in 1 partition, or several partitions. Once set up, the server can hold data that either needs to be backed up, or for archival reasons. Any reason to rely on a NAS will be good enough for K: NAS. In the home use, K: NAS will make a great backup drive to where the K-Drive on the computer will identify the partition as a separate letter assignment, and then back up to that virtual drive on the computer. As with all server applications, K: NAS will use a graphical user interface.
