Kal-TV is the TV service for the TV app. This app will be available on computers, mobile devices, Kal-OS (TV), and smart TVs that would support the TV app. In order to use it, Kal-TV will require login with the TV provider credentials. Assuming that one is in the country, they will be able to watch their local channels (even if out of the country). This is based off the address to define local stations. Also, assuming they pay for services, they will also have access to their cable stations, and premium channels. They will also receive their channel guide. The idea is to use the TV app to replace the need for OTA television service, therefore freeing up the radio bands for other roles. To use the TV app, the subscriber must have a Kaldan address. This is because advertisers don’t want to advertise for local service to someone that will likely not be able to use their service.
