K-Files is the file manager for handheld devices. Since they are not full-fledge computers with multiple drives, K-Files doesn’t need to be as fully capable as K-Drive. Instead, selecting the K-Files app on the handheld will bring you to a menu that would allow you to see the contents of your micro-SD card. This is because micro-SD card support is required to be supported. If the user doesn’t have a micro-SD card, then they will select the files folder within K-Files to access their Kal-Drive account. All users will have 5GB for free, and this will allow the user to store important files. The actual drive in the handheld will have limited access to it considering that deleting the wrong files can lead to some negative consequences. With that said, the user will have access to the following folders:
- Documents
- Music
- Photos
- Videos
Documents are .odt files that can be edited, and viewed. Music will be the music files stored on the handheld. Photos are photos either received from another source, or taken with the camera. The same will apply to videos. In the event that one installs a micro-SD card into the handheld, they will have the option to move the user files to the micro-SD card. If so, then K-Files will default to the micro-SD card rather than the handheld’s primary drive. K-Files will also continue to have access to the Kal-Drive service.
