K: LAMP

K: LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) is a web and email server designed to provide the customer with all of the tools they will need to run their own server without having to rely on an ISP. This is because K: LAMP uses the industry proven software, and software to run their web server. K: LAMP is available with any Kal-OS platform, and available at no additional charge. K: LAMP is recommended to be in a 1U rack mount for personal or business use. Web Hosting companies should consider 5U rack mount servers for the extra storage space.

K: LAMP will use a GUI interface to allow things to be managed easier without needing to know IT technology. By using a graphical interface, the operator will be able to assign a drive for the website, and create sub-domains. There will be policies to allow for the creation of SSL certificates which is required for any .ka domain. MySQL and PHP will run the basis of the website, and if the operator is not familiar with PHP and MySQL, then they can always install a WordPress or Joomla installation in their server. If the K: LAMP server is in the LAN, then one could use K-Drive on their computer to connect to the K: LAMP Server.
