K: PBX is a graphical telephony server. Since POTS telephone lines will be considered as obsolete and will not be supported by the Kaldan telephone provider(s), K: PBX will offer the means for a number of SIP phones to connect the people in the premise with the rest of the world. This will seem obvious for a business perspective, but can also be used in a home service. This is not as important since the phone provider will have things like unified voicemail, and multiple telephone numbers, but for the home use, a SIP phone can answer the call, and do everything inside the home network.
K: PBX will also support FOIP (Fax Over Internet Protocol). The operator will just need to activate a telephone number ending in 0 if this is a Kaldan system. For other countries that may not be as forward thinking as Kaldus, K: PBX will be a superior product to more conventional PBX software with a much easier to use interface to where one does not need much in the way of prior experience. If someone is familiar with Kal-OS, then they should be able to work with K: PBX.
