The TV has a very specific role, and that is to display video (and sometimes radio) content on a screen of varying sizes. With this in mind, there will only be a couple of apps. The apps are as follows:
- Doc Viewer
- K-Drive
- K-Photos
- Kaldus Radio
- TV App
All TVs sold in Kaldus must have an RJ45 port, and support for both an NVME, and a SD card reader. The NVME will allow for integrated DVR capabilities, and the SD card will read files such as music or photos. Since this will be a TV, and access to only a remote control, the interface much be able to use a navigation control, and go up and down or side to side with a center button to select. The hard part will be to get app publishers to publish their apps for Kal-OS. The other option will be to move to an already established OS such as Roku.
