All radio stations in Kaldus will have a unique call-sign. In addition, all radio stations must provide their station as a streaming option with a standard protocol. The Kaldus Radio app will be available not only on Kal-OS, but Android, and iOS. The subscriber will type in the callsign which will always start with R followed by 4 letters. The radio app will show what song is playing, and the artist. This will allow the subscriber to learn new music, and find out what that new hit is.
The goal is to eventually phase out OTA radio services, and use that spectrum for other important measures. For that to happen, the radio station needs to have a streaming outlet. Anyone can listen to any Kaldan radio station just by knowing the call sign, and downloading the Kaldus Radio app.
