K-Music

K-Music is the music app for Kal-OS systems. This app will play all of the popular formats as long as that file is not DRM encrypted. In addition to working with local/network files – KCI will try to work with music streaming services to integrate their system into K-Music. For example, if Pandora was to cooperate, then the user can enter their Pandora credentials to listen to their account on the app. Obviously, there needs to be an internet connection, but one needs an internet connection anyways.

In addition, one could make some pretty complex rules to make the most of their playlists. When using an handheld, the user will plug their handheld into a KCI computer. They will then go to K-Drive, and select the sync button. The two machines will connect, and transfer any changes to the various files. This will also allow photos taken on the handheld to transfer to the computer. In order for this to work, a KCI computer must be used.
